We are a non-profit media organization comprised of devoted likeminded individuals who understand the systemic challenges that black women face daily.
Because of these challenges, we are actively working to alleviate the effects of those systemic challenges by providing Black women access to an unrivaled community of resources in which

Because of these challenges, we are actively working to alleviate the effects of those systemic challenges by providing Black women access to an unrivaled community of resources in which they are able to obtain assistance, free of judgement and filled with kindness and positive intention.
We achieve this ambitious goal by utilizing our online communities and resources to amplify our impact and reach. We connect black women with support systems, educational materials, mentorship opportunities, and more.
By leveraging the power of technology and digital communication, we ensure that our assistance is accessible to black women wherever they are, breaking down geographical barriers and fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity.

At AssistHER, we offer a variety of resources both online and in-person to enrich our community of sisters:
Online resources include: a full library of academic and social resources catered to the black woman's unique experiences, fitness training session (both group and individual), health and wellness courses, academic tutoring for wom

Online resources include: a full library of academic and social resources catered to the black woman's unique experiences, fitness training session (both group and individual), health and wellness courses, academic tutoring for women and children, financial literacy courses, courses in media and digital marketing and much more.
In person resources include: social and business networking events in the DMV area, in person tutoring,
workshops and seminars on topics such as career development, self-care, and financial planning, mentorship programs connecting black women with industry professionals, community outreach initiatives providing essential services such as food assistance and healthcare access, and empowerment retreats and conferences for personal and professional growth. Our comprehensive approach ensures that black women have access to the tools, support, and opportunities they need to thrive in every aspect of their lives.
